Preface

This is a start of a genealogy of the descendants of William1 Campbell (1730‑1805) of King and Queen County, Virginia.  He was apparently a brother of Whitaker1 Campbell (1727‑1814), the subject of a separate genealogy.  Because these two Campbell families had descendants living in the same areas of the country, it is important to study both groups in order to keep them apart. 

Details for living descendants have been suppressed for privacy.  Readers are encouraged to send additions and corrections to the author for inclusion in subsequent revisions.
